We weren't expecting this side of Singapore at all! After wandering through the charming streets of Joo Chiat and Katong, we quickly realized this was our kind of place. Colourful shophouses, amazing food, cute cafés, friendly locals, and a slower pace of life, it was exactly the kind of place we love exploring. From crispy roti prata for breakfast to a surprise serenade over coffee, and ending the day with beachside hawker food at East Coast Park, this turned into one of our favourite days in Singapore.
