2 of 3 (short)
This short features Olivia Newton-John's Making A Good Thing Better music video, specially edited with a little tweak. Olivia made it as a promotional music video. Making A Good Thing Better is her tenth studio album released in 1977. Making A Good Thing Better was also the title track and the lead single. Love the rendition of this music video. It's simple, and yet, it captures Olivia's talent and beauty as a performer demonstrating her vocal quality, power, expressions and photogenic presence along with her loveliness and sweet smile. After the Making A Good Thing Better album, ONJ's Greatest Hits was released in the same year (1977) and Olivia also signed on to do the movie Grease (1978)....the rest is history!

Billboard (July/1977) review on the album:
"Another stellar rendering from the pretty maiden of mellow pop. Familiar John themes-about sad or lost love-amid tranquil ballads, mid-tempo numbers and perky, up beat, country-flavored offerings. Particularly exhilarating is a stirring interpretation of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" from Webber/Rice's "Evita" rock opera. The evocative vocal and stirring orchestration indicates a bolder rock direction and range for this artist. As usual John Farrar's production is out-standing and there are potential pop and country singles. Best cuts: "Making A Good Thing Better," "Slow Dancing "Don't Cry For Me Argentina," "I Think I'll Say Goodbye," "If Love Is Real." Dealers: John appeals to a wide crossover audience and album photography is enrapturing.
