It's been almost a month since Dolly passed, and it still doesn't feel real. There are moments in life you look back on and have to pinch yourself that they actually happened …. meeting Dolly is one of those moments for me. I'll never forget being in a room with her and feeling that magic she carried everywhere she went. The second she walked in, the whole room changed. The energy shifted, the light got brighter , you just felt it.

That's not something everyone has. Dolly did, effortlessly, every single time.

I'm so grateful I got to experience that, even once. To feel the warmth and joy she brought into every space she entered. She wasn't a legend just because of the music, the movies, or the decades of hits — she was a legend because of who she was as a person. Kind, funny, humble, real. She made everyone around her feel like they mattered. A true one of one.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for the music, the light, and the memory I'll carry with me forever. Heaven just got a little more sparkle.
