Did you know Elvis Presley was considered for the male lead in the 1976 film A Star Is Born? ????????
Elvis could have appeared opposite Barbra Streisand as a troubled rock star—a role very different from many of his earlier Hollywood movies. According to Turner Classic Movies, Streisand’s team approached Colonel Tom Parker, but Elvis ultimately did not take the role. Kris Kristofferson eventually played the part.
Imagine what an Elvis and Barbra Streisand movie could have looked like! ????????
