Country superstar Clint Black sits down with rock icon and Poison frontman Bret Michaels for an energetic, heartfelt conversation spanning four decades of arena rock and unexpected country crossovers. Michaels opens up about managing Type 1 diabetes since childhood through music, surviving three years sleeping on the floor behind a dry cleaner, and navigating the brotherhood of Poison—including a legendary knockdown, drag-out fistfight with C.C. DeVille the night before an arena show. He reveals the heartbreak in a broken-down mini-Winnebago that birthed the smash ballad "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," despite record label pushback that it sounded "too country." Michaels also shares unforgettable memories of collaborating with Loretta Lynn, Stevie Nicks, and Jimmy Buffett, before offering an iconic choice for his dream heaven duet: jamming on "Stairway to Heaven" with Robert Plant.
