If you're familiar with Akai's famous Glass Crystal heads on reel-to-reel machines, then you should know that this is what the "GX" in the model name of this deck stands for - it is, so far as I know, the ONLY 8-Track deck ever made with Glass Crystal heads! I fully serviced this machine about three years ago and it's in perfect running order. Call me and we'll set up a time for you to come see and hear it, and we'll send it home with you.
