I'm an actor and I've been honing my skills with something I call ' A Monologue A Day'. Today's monologue is Abraham Whistler (played by Kris Kristofferson) explaining the vampire hunter Blade's unique origin to Dr. Karen Jenson in the 1998 Marvel action/horror hit BLADE . In this scene, Whistler recounts finding Blade at age 13, discovering his true hybrid nature, explaining his strengths and his bloodlust. Blade, is still to this day, my favorite superhero movie and I thought it appropriate with Halloween coming up.
