???? For the Good Times - Kris Kristofferson (1970)

떠나야 한다는 것을 알면서도,
마지막 순간만큼은 슬픔보다 좋았던 시간을 기억하고 싶은 마음.

〈For the Good Times〉

???? Song : For the Good Times
???? Artist : Kris Kristofferson
???? Year : 1970

Janis Joplin’s Secret Song That Broke His Heart.

Thu, 08 Oct 2026 12:10:14 +0000

Janis Joplin went into the studio and recorded Kris Kristofferson's "Me and Bobby McGee" without ever telling him—and just days later, she was gone forever. The very next day, a producer played her track for Kristofferson for the first time, leaving him so overwhelmed with grief that he walked out into the streets of Los Angeles in tears. Janis had poured her soul into the track, transforming his lyrics into a raw, unforgettable masterpiece. Months later, her haunting version rocketed to No. 1 on the charts, though she never lived to hear her biggest hit on the radio. For the next 54 years, Kristofferson performed her song at every show, confessing, "Every time I sing it, I still think of Janis." When he passed away in 2024, half a century after her death, he left behind a legendary piece of music—proving that "a true artist may leave this world, but their voice will echo through eternity."

Thu, 08 Oct 2026 12:10:13 +0000

Janis Joplin recorded Kris Kristofferson's "Me and Bobby McGee" without telling him. Days later, she was dead. The next day, a producer played Kris her recording for the first time. He walked out of the studio and wandered through Los Angeles in tears. "It just blew me away," he later said. Janis had transformed his song into something deeply her own. Months later, her version reached No. 1—but she never lived to hear it on the radio. Kristofferson did. And for the next 54 years, he kept performing the song she left behind. "Every time I sing it, I still think of Janis," he said. Kris died in 2024, 54 years after her. For half a century, one song kept bringing Janis back to him. ????
